The Genisis Of The K.V.
PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No.-3, Agra Cantt. came into existence in September, 1986 and was formally inaugurated by Sh. D.P. Kharab, Assistant Commissioner KVS Jaipur Region and Brig R. P. Limaya.
The school was opened in response to the KVS HQ Letter F1/12 (Esst /86 – KVS JPR dated 21st July 1986). The school shifted in the new building in May 2002. The school runs classes from standard I to XII and its affiliation was granted vide letter no. CBSE/ Aff. / 21083 / 2002 / 5708-10.
Important Milestone Of Growth
1986 – Establishment of the KendriyaVidyalaya under able guidance of Principal, Sh. K.G. Maheshwari – Classes I to X
2002 – KendriyaVidyalaya shifted to New Building – Classes I to X
2003 – KV upgraded to XII classes
Gradual Year Wise Expansion In Classes And Sections Leading To Present Status
1986-1987 – Class I to V – One Section
1989-1990 – Class I to X – Two Sections up to Class V
2002-2003 – Class I to XII – Three Sections up to Class X and Two Sections in Class XI & XII
2010-2011 – Three Section up to XI
2011-2016 – Three Section Up to XII – Two Science Section and One Commerce Section
Facilities Available Including Games And Sports Facilities
Most of the games facilities are available in the Vidyalaya. Some of them are Gym, Skating Rink, Lawn Tennis, Basket Ball ,KhoKho, Foot ball, Athletics, Volley ball.
